The kitchen from the old manor house had a large range with large wooden work surfaces to prepare large quantities of food and the pantry to keep butter and meat cold. Although the design of  country fitted kitchens may have changed the theme still persists. The stone floor is now easier to keep clean and the kitchen will retain the warm and cosy feel which is full of character.
